The dudes behind La Blogotheque have cemented a place for themselves, regardless of what they decide to do with the take-away shows, in some corner of media history. A favorite:
Suckers are up next. A show to end all shows.

As it turns out, this interview Pance and I did/shot with Jonah in April of 2007 for ‘Sup was both enlightening (acronym-wise) and, looking back, a fun, off-hand prediction of things that have since come to pass. Namely, Claire! She’s a full-fledged partner, and fully amazing, on the(ir) new album, See Mystery Lights. Love it.
this is possibly one of the creepiest things i have ever seen. from watching too much CSI and law and order, i can imagine a murderer hiding real human body parts in the bakery to dispose of evidence. someone buys some ‘bread’ and takes a bite out of a real human foot.
i came across this in a google search for ‘bread and body’ hoping to find information on the wafers handed out at catholic mass. now i’m having daymares.
count snackula attacks:

cream top strawberry yogurt, honey roasted cashews, granola, pitas & brie, mandarin.
TOP THAT. let’s take a look at a photo of your snack attack!
My friend Marianne Dissard is on tour now. I’m seeing her Wednesday night in San Francisco at the Hemlock Tavern.

HEATWAVE. everyone’s stripped down to their summer dresses and (god help us) flip flops showing off their winter pastiness. it’s wonderful. just wonderful. (minus the flip flops)

while google image searching for bruce gilden’s street photography, i came across this article about the british DIY youtube superstar, tricia walsh-smith. i don’t have much to say about her you tube sensation other than her “fame” led her to fulfill her obvious need for attention with several music videos and a possible reality tv show in the works.

out of sheer train wreck like curiosity (and neeeeeeed for something else to help me procrastinate) i was perusing the guestbook on her website and while there are a few death threats, nasty comments and more than a few requests for dates and observations of her legs, there’s a woman who has offered her services just in case ms. walsh-smith wants to “wright” a book.
have you ever been intersted in wrighting a book? If so contact me! Good Luck!
sarah allen, if you’re out there, i’d like you to be my ghostwrighter for my memoirs. please contact me as soon as possible.
