Otl Aicher’s work for the 1972 Munich Olympic games will, without a doubt, be locked in as one of the most poignant (and beautiful) visual communication systems in the history of modern graphic design. SF residents, this will serve as your final warning: “Otl Aicher; München 1972″ through July 7, 2009, at SF MoMA.

  2. his work is beautiful. you should check out (if you don’t know him already) julien pecaud’s graphic work. i feel there must be some inspiration coming from aicher’s work.
