Otl Aicher’s work for the 1972 Munich Olympic games will, without a doubt, be locked in as one of the most poignant (and beautiful) visual communication systems in the history of modern graphic design. his work is beautiful. you should check out (if you don’t know him already) julien pecaud’s graphic work. i feel there must be some inspiration coming from aicher’s work.
